North Carolina tied a single-game school record as eight players made three-pointers, including Henri Veesaar's career-high four. Caleb Wilson tied a UNC freshman record scoring 20 or more points in his fifth straight game. Phil Ford also scored 20 or more five straight games as a freshman in 1974-75.
