The topic was brought up minutes into Hubert Davis‘ postgame press conference Monday. The coach’s son, Elijah Davis, had scored the final basket in UNC’s blowout win over East Carolina. They were Elijah’s first points as a Tar Heel. Hubert Davis leaned back in his chair and stared at the box score on the podium for 13 seconds, fighting back tears. (Inside Carolina)
