2010 DT Jeffrey Whitaker has a dozen offers
Posted Feb 15, 2009
Warner Robins defensive tackle [and UNC recruit] Jeffrey Whitaker, who is a candidate to be the state’s top prospect, has a dozen offers, including Georgia Tech and Georgia. The most recent ones came from South Carolina and Alabama.
Whitaker said what has excited him the most is the idea of earning a college degree. “The recruiting is going fine, but I’m just happy about the college part,” he said. “I’ll be the first member of my [immediate] family to graduate from college. To me, that’s more exciting than the football.”
