Heels headed home
Posted Apr 6, 2008
Kansas got its revenge last night on Roy Williams for leaving as its coach five years ago, bouncing North Carolina out of the NCAA's Final Four. Kansas won 84-66 at the Alamodome, pulling away in the final 12 minutes after stopping a North Carolina rally. North Carolina, down 28 points after only 13:13, sliced the lead to 54-50 behind Wayne Ellington and Danny Green in a 17-2 scoring run.
