UNC Basketball Falls to SMU, 97-83, For Second Loss Of Season

In North Carolina’s second true road game of the season, SMU pulled away from the Tar Heels in the second half, handing UNC a 97-83 defeat in Dallas. Coming in averaging 19.9 points per game, the ACC’s fourth-leading scorer Boopie Miller had his way with the Tar Heels, going for 27 points to go along with 12 assists. Seth Trimble led UNC with 22 points. (Inside Carolina)
