Class of 2010 spotlight: Eric Mack

If you think college football’s recruiting season just ended, you would be mistaken. Recruiting season never ends. Just ask Calhoun County coach Walt Wilson, who is gearing up for the same level of recruiting attention for junior offensive tackle Eric Mack that he recently went through with senior wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.

Mack is determined to let the full process play out over the next year. “I’m pretty wide open,” he said. “I don’t have any top schools at this moment.” What he does have is a lot of offers — South Carolina, Clemson, Alabama, LSU, Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky and Wake Forest. (The State)
