UNC QB Gio Lopez to Enter Transfer Portal

North Carolina's 2025 starting quarterback Gio Lopez plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Lopez's decision comes just one day after the Tar Heels landed Wisconsin transfer quarterback Billy Edwards. Lopez finished the 2025 season at UNC with 1,747 pass yards, 10 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. UNC's passing offense ranked 110th nationally. (TarHeel247)
