Derek Dixon Looks to Build off Starting Debut For UNC

Freshman point guard Derek Dixon got the first start of his career Saturday at California, and he also logged 30 minutes, his most playing time this season. Even though UNC lost Dixon turned in a solid performance, tying his season-high with 14 points. He was 5-for-11 shooting, including 4-for-8 from the perimeter.
