UNC vs. Virginia Observations: 40-19, Strong Close, Jarin Stevenson, Rebounding
Posted Jan 24, 2026
UNC lost and then regained the lead, riding junior Jarin Stevenson, who scored all 17 of his points over the final 12:42 of the contest. The 85 points are the most by UNC in this building, which opened 20 years ago, and the most at UVA since 2005. The 16-point deficit is the most an opponent has ever overcome in winning here since JPJ opened in 2006.
