In the hours before North Carolina took the court at Rupp Arena to play Kentucky on Tuesday, December 2, longtime Tar Heel basketball supporters Rusty Carter and Hunter Morin stepped into a small meeting room at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Lexington for an hour-long conversation with UNC executive associate athletic director Steve Newmark.
