The UNC-Duke rivalry is built on its history. Today, very few of the players are from North Carolina. Some of them have played Duke before on other teams, but the intensity of those games is different. “The driving factor in a lot of ways now is money, and I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. These players have the opportunity to make generational wealth,” Cormac Ryan said.
