Tar Heels can’t match Miami’s energy, falter on defense, rebounding
Posted Feb 11, 2026
One game after beating Duke, it never happened for North Carolina at Miami. Hubert Davis tried several lineup combinations, but poor defense and rebounding continued in a 75-66 loss to the Hurricanes. Caleb Wilson missing 6 1/2 second-half minutes, returning with his left hand and wrist heavily wrapped, then sitting out the last 1:43, didn’t help.
