Cut Roy Some Slack
Posted Feb 19, 2009
If anyone is in a position to say “yay” or “nay” to Roy Williams regarding his f-bomb in Wednesday night’s postgame press conference, it’s probably me. After all, it was in direct response to a series of questions I asked him about his team’s poor full-court press and trapping defenses. Now, Williams eventually applied the “F…ing” word when describing his unhappiness with Carolina’s press, but it wasn’t in anger over my persistence.
