Retired catcher Jacob Stallings returns to Pittsburgh Pirates in new role

Former North Carolina and Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings has joined the Pirates' baseball operations department. Details about his job are being worked out, but he expects to work with the club's minor league affiliates, specifically helping to develop catchers. Stallings was selected by Pittsburgh in the seventh round of the 2012 MLB draft.
