On the boys team, North Carolina dominated the McDonald's All-American selections with four players, including Travis and David Wear from Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), Dexter Strickland from St. Patrick (Elizabeth, N.J.) and John Hensen of Sickles (Tampa).
