No. 3 UNC Women's Tennis opened ACC play Friday against Syracuse in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels downed the Orange, 4-0. No. 6 Oby Kajuru earned a straight-sets victory to open singles play for UNC. No. 1 Reese Brantmeier topped Serafima Shastova from the Orange and no. 17 Tatum Evans clinched the match for Carolina with a straight-set victory.
