Forbes Names Carolina to “Best Large Employer” List


The University of North Carolina is the top-ranked public institution in North Carolina on the Forbes 2026 Best Large Employer List released Tuesday. UNC is ranked 129th of 700 organizations and institutions and is the 9th best place to work among large public universities on the list. In 2025, Forbes named UNC a “new Ivy” for the second straight year. (Carolina Alumni Review)
