Hakeem Nicks plans surprise for scouts

Hakeem Nicks is hoping to unveil speed far beyond what NFL scouts are expecting at the league combine this weekend. Though Nicks' time in the 40-yard dash is expected to be slightly better than 4.6 seconds, he said Friday he hopes to run in the low-to-mid 4.4s when he's timed on Sunday. "I think I have a lot more speed than what is expected," he said. "I just have to go out there and prove that." (Raleigh News & Observer)
