'Just us,' circle concept helped UNC Basketball turn inward when outside noise got loud


When No. 17 North Carolina faced adversity, and the outside noise got loud, the Tar Heels narrowed their focus to something much smaller. "Just us." That phrase, repeated in huddles and conversations throughout the season, traces back to an idea introduced before the season. "I said that this is a tight group and we have to stay together."
