Vasquez, Terps knock down Heels
Posted Feb 22, 2009
Greivis Vasquez became latest opposing guard to join North Carolina’s 30-point club. Thirty or more against the Tar Heels, that is. As a result, third-ranked UNC’s 10-game winning streak is over. Vasquez scored 35 points — including the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime — to beat UNC 88-85 at Comcast Center. He completed a triple-double with 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
