UNC Baseball traveled to Evans Diamond for the first time and took game one against the California Bears 8-1 on Friday night. Jason DeCaro turned in a strong start on the mound and the Tar Heels' offense found life late. Owen Hull went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a double, Erik Paulsen had two knocks, and Jake Schaffner was a triple shy of the cycle.
