Shell Shocked

When Wayne Ellington raced through the lane and banked in a shot off the glass, things looked downright rosy for the North Carolina basketball team. The visiting Tar Heels led by nine points with less than two minutes remaining against Maryland. Then came a nightmarish stretch that Ellington afterward called unacceptable. It all added up to an 88-85 overtime loss that left the Tar Heels scrambling for the exits. (Burlington Times News)
