No. 11 seed VCU erases 19-point deficit, stuns sixth-seeded North Carolina 82-78 in OT


Terrence Hill Jr. made a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left in overtime and No. 11 seed VCU erased from a 19-point second-half deficit to stun No. 6 seed North Carolina 82-78 Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Hill was 7 for 10 from 3-point range and scored 20 of 34 points after halftime as VCU won its first Tournament game since 2016. (Associated Press)
