Youseff Shamel Crowned Men's Fencing National Champion


For the first time in forty-three years, UNC Fencing crowns an individual national champion as Youseff Shamel wins the 2026 Men's Epee Individual National Championships. Shamel is the second national champion in program history. Shamel had only been on campus for three months before introducing himself by winning the ACC Championship. (GoHeels.com)
