Hubert Davis fired after five years, ushering in historic break from UNC family tradition

As things came to a head Tuesday evening, Hubert Davis was called to an emergency meeting with outgoing AD Bubba Cunningham and incoming AD Steve Newmark. It was there that Davis was informed he was being terminated. Soon after, players and staff were summoned for a 9 p.m. meeting. Here is the timeline of how everything played out. (CBS Sports)
