No. 1 UNC Women's Lacrosse fell in overtime, 17-16, to No. 11 Northwestern on Wednesday at Dorrance Field (Highlights). The loss snaps the Tar Heels' 31-game win streak and was its first defeat since losing in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament to Florida. Chloe Humphrey starred with six goals.
