No foolin’: UNC Baseball wins marathon game well after midnight

No. 6 UNC Baseball needed to play well after midnight to pull out a 14-inning, 5-4 victory over Campbell (Highlights), and that is no April Fool’s joke. But there might have been a bit of foolishness along the way. The teams combined for 30 strikeouts among 16 players. There were 645 combined pitches thrown, and the game lasted 4 hours and 46 minutes. (Tar Heel Tribune)
