Derek Dixon to enter transfer portal, but leaves option to return to UNC

Derek Dixon plans to enter the transfer portal, he announced Monday, but left open the possibility that he could return to Carolina for his sophomore season. During his freshman season, Dixon started 16 games, averaging 6.5 points, 2.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game. "I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal with the option to return to UNC."
