North Carolina Announces Hiring Of Michael Malone As Men’s Basketball Head Coach

Michael Malone, a 24-year NBA coaching veteran who led the Denver Nuggets to a world championship title in 2023, is the University of North Carolina's next men's basketball head coach. Malone will be welcomed to Chapel Hill at an introductory news conference at the Smith Center Tuesday at 6 p.m. It will be open to the public, and doors open at 5 p.m. (GoHeels.com)
