Steve Newmark refused to take no for an answer, and by the time he left Michael Malone’s house Easter Sunday, North Carolina's search for its next men’s basketball coach had its turning point. Malone had already said no more than once. Even his daughter Bridget, a member of the UNC volleyball team, got a no when she urged him to take the job. (Tar Heel Tribune)
