Tar Heel Guard Jaydon Young Returning for Senior Season

North Carolina guard Jaydon Young will remain with the Tar Heels in 2026-27. He was previously expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Young arrived at UNC last season after two seasons at Virginia Tech. He appeared in 31 games with the Tar Heels, averaging 7.2 minutes per game. During that time, he scored 1.8 points per game as a junior.
