Michael Malone means a fresh start for Jaydon Young

Michael Malone was named UNC's new men's basketball coach last Tuesday. Since then, it has been all about constructing a roster for the 2026-27 season. The first player to say he wants to be a part of it is Jaydon Young. The 6-foot-4 junior from Goldsboro made it official Friday, announcing he will remain at UNC for his second season with the Tar Heels.
