UNC landed its first basketball commitment of the transfer portal period by securing dynamic playmaker Neoklis Avdalas on Monday. Avdalas, the No. 3 shooting guard and No. 20 overall player in the transfer portal rankings, chose the Tar Heels after drawing interest from Arkansas, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan, Oklahoma State, St. John’s, and Texas.
