Dexter Strickland held to four points

Linden High School did everything it could possibly do to make it a ballgame with nationally-recognized St. Patrick in the Union County Tournament semifinals Thursday night. The Tigers held UNC-bound to just four points and five total shots, but once the Celtics' lead hit double digits late in the first half, the margin of error was next to nil. As a result, top-seeded St. Patrick of Elizabeth posted a 48-36 victory. (New Brunswick Home News Tribune)
