Roy Williams discusses salary in wake of Jim Calhoun's fuss
Posted Feb 28, 2009
Coach Roy Williams of North Carolina wouldn't be averse to taking a pay cut under the right conditions to help the school in tough economic times. Williams, in his sixth season at UNC, would be open to the request if shown that taking a cut would ease a hardship, but would be less willing if asked as only a gesture of support. "I don't think that I'm in the business to make money," Williams said.
