Erin Matson Earns UNC Distinguished Young Alumna Honor

Transitioning from star player to head coach of the No. 1 UNC Field Hockey team put a target on Erin Matson's back. Matson did what she always does in difficult times. She dove into the challenges. She wanted to win and she knew how. Her players had faith in her and she in them. Her first year as head coach, she led her team to the national championship.
