Bill Belichick’s UNC program had no players drafted

Last year, UNC Football G.M. Mike Lombardi proclaimed the Tar Heels as the NFL’s 33rd franchise. The other 32 teams had no interest in any of their draft-eligible players. None of the players from Bill Belichick's first season were among the 257 draft picks from the 2026 selection process. And they arrived in time to take advantage of the transfer portal.
