NCAA agrees to change prize money rules, pay $2M settlement with UNC tennis star Reese Brantmeier


Athletes in all sports will be able to accept prize money before enrolling in college under terms of a proposed settlement of a class action lawsuit brought by UNC women’s tennis star against the NCAA. The NCAA agreed to pay $2.02 million in damages, including $10,000 for plaintiffs Brantmeier and former Texas tennis player Maya Joint. (WRAL.com)
