What has success looked like for first-year basketball coaches at UNC since Frank McGuire left New York City for Chapel Hill in 1952? And how have former NBA coaches fared at the college level? The last six UNC basketball coaches have averaged 22 wins and 8.5 losses in their debut seasons with the Tar Heels. Four made the NCAA Tournament.
