Tyler Hansbrough went 8 for 8 from the free throw line and became the NCAA career leader in free throws made with 907. He broke Wake Forest's Dickie Hemric's record set in 1955 with his 906th free throw with 14:54 to play in the second half. Hansbrough scored 28 points and had 10 rebounds to post his eighth double-double of the season and 43rd of his career. The 28 points marked his 73rd career game with at least 20 points.
