UNC Women’s Lacrosse Defeats Stanford to Advance to NCAA Semifinals


North Carolina women's lacrosse advanced to the NCAA Tournament semifinals with a 14-11 victory over Stanford at Dorrance Field on Thursday (Highlights). It marks the 15th time that UNC has advanced to the semifinals, which is the third most in NCAA history. Carolina will play Maryland at the Final Four on Friday, May 22 for the right to play for the national title. (GoHeels.com)
