No. 2 UNC run-ruled NC State in a series-clinching 17-7 victory on Friday night at Doak Field. The Tar Heels (43-9-1, 22-7) scored four or more runs in three separate frames to dominate the Wolfpack in seven innings. Jake Schaffner homered on the very first pitch of the game. Owen Hull and Macon Winslow doubled in back-to-back at-bats twice in the game. (TarHeel247)
