, a 6-9 rising sophomore guard from Greece, is joining the North Carolina Men's Basketball team after one season at Virginia Tech. Avdalas averaged 12.1 points and 4.6 assists in 31 games for the Hokies. He twice earned ACC Rookie-of-the-Week honors. He went to Blacksburg after playing two seasons in Greece's HEBA A1 league.
