Mr. Chapel Hill Regional: Gavin Gallaher thrives in big postseason moments

Just call him Mr. Chapel Hill Regional. As a freshman two seasons ago, UNC infielder Gavin Gallaher hit a game-ending grand slam to beat Long Island in the opener and was Most Outstanding Player of the regional. As a sophomore, he was 13 of 18 with three homers, three doubles, a triple, seven runs, and 10 RBI in last year’s Chapel Hill Regional. (Tar Heel Tribune)
