North Carolina's Carson Bertagnole and Niall Sheils Donegan both shot 3-under-par 69s to lead the Tar Heels to a tie for sixth place after round one of the 2026 NCAA Men's Championship on the North Course at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
