Dwight Jones looks to step up for Tar Heels at receiver

The first active player named by UNC football coach Butch Davis in Tuesday's news conference discussing spring practice was that of Tar Heels wide receiver Dwight Jones. Without prompting, Jones' name was the first mentioned when Davis began speaking of the Tar Heels' receivers, a personnel group that will receive some of the most intense scrutiny during spring practices, which began Wednesday.
