UNC slugger Erik Paulsen honors later father with Regional MVP honor

UNC recently swept its way through the Chapel Hill Regional, with earning Most Outstanding Player Honors. For Paulsen, his honor means a little more than any random MVP selection. It highlights a promise he made to his late father, Erik, who watched every single game until transferring to Chapel Hill. Paulsen mashed his way through the regional, going 6-for-12 with six RBI and two runs. (USA Today)
