UNC recently swept its way through the Chapel Hill Regional, with Erik Paulsen earning Most Outstanding Player Honors. For Paulsen, his honor means a little more than any random MVP selection. It highlights a promise he made to his late father, Erik, who watched every single game until transferring to Chapel Hill. Paulsen mashed his way through the regional, going 6-for-12 with six RBI and two runs. (USA Today)
