Recruiting speed, athleticism brings parity to ACC

UNC women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell looks at the ACC standings and sees a tough time ahead at the conference tournament -- even for a Tar Heels team that is the four-time defending champion. The four-day tournament opens today at the Greensboro Coliseum, and for the first time since 2000, neither Duke nor North Carolina will claim a No. 1 or No. 2 seed. The Blue Devils and the Tar Heels are seeded third and fourth, respectively.
