It didn’t take Gavin Gallaher long to move on from UNC baseball’s win against Ole Miss in the 2026 College World Series. As the Tar Heels (51-12-1) enjoyed breakfast at the Hilton Omaha on Saturday, ahead of their afternoon practice, UNC’s co-captain was already asking UNC hitting coach Jesse Wierzbicki about West Virginia pitcher Maxx Yehl.
