Williams ahead of his (draft) class


When came into the NBA all the experts warned that it might be four of five years before it showed, but that he could end up being the best player in his draft class. Early on, All-Stars Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Danny Granger and budding star Monta Ellis made that prediction look shaky, when Williams watched his more seasoned draft classmates make much easier transitions to the league. But it doesn’t look quite as far-fetched these days. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
